Okay so lets keep it brief…

Can everyone run? YES. Can everyone run efficiently? NO.

There are a couple of very basic things you can start focusing on to improve your gait. Running is the easiest form of exercise and I would love to teach you a few easy steps to optimize this activity. I believe that kids should be given these simple guidelines so that they can start from a young age, especially considering most sports include some form of running. The body is an integrated functioning system that can easily be manipulated and guided with the correct knowledge and exercises.

Before we start I would like to thank George Major, one of the ultra athletes for Hong Kong Sports Clinic, for allowing me to use his footage from his recent running assessment to highlight a couple of key points about running style.
